Phillip M. Carter, II - Online Portfolio

I like to tell people that I didn't choose librarianship, I fell into it. It's not an uncommon story in the field. I was a young man, fresh out of college with his degree in Music in hand and I needed a job. Unfortunately a degree in music does not necessariily make you much more hireable than if you didn't have a degree at all. Lucky for me, a library took a chance on me and hired me as a part time circulation assistant. From there I found my calling and am nearing the completion of my MLIS through the University of Southern Mississippi.
